Staying true to their innovative roots with baits that undeniably catch fish, Yamamoto cranks up the volume on one of the hottest baits in recent years with the 4.25″ Yamatanuki. Credited as one of the baits that started the “heavy” soft plastic craze in Japan, the new largest size Yamatanuki is made to be fished weightless due to its super-heavy plastic composition. While the 4.25″ Nuki is longer than the original 3.5 inches, it maintains the same diameter, giving it a larger profile without inhibiting hookup ratios or action. Thanks to its longer profile, the 4.25″ Yamatanuki has even more shimmy than the 3.5 or 2.5, further enhancing its fish-catching prowess. At 5/8 oz, anglers can rig the big Yamatanuki weedless on an EWG-style hook and fish it at even the deepest bass fishing depths in a “power finesse” style of angling. Due to its specialized heavy-salt makeup, the Yamatanuki casts with ease and falls fast. An incredible option for flipping, casting, dragging, and targeting fish on forward-facing sonar, the Yamamoto 4.25″ Yamatanuki allows anglers to fish an even larger heavyweight soft plastic with even better action than the original!
