Staying true to their innovative roots with baits that undeniably catch fish, Yamamoto baits deliver the Yamatanuki. This unique softbait has been very popular for the Japanese Yamamoto lineup for years and is now finally available to the US bass market. Credited as one of the baits that started the “heavy” soft plastic craze in Japan, the Yamatanuki is made to be fished weightless due to its super-heavy plastic composition. At 5/8 oz, anglers can rig the Yamatanuki weedless on an EWG-style hook and fish it at even the deepest bass fishing depths in a “power finesse” style of angling. Due to its specialized heavy-salt makeup, the Yamatanuki casts with ease and falls fast. An incredible option for flipping, casting, dragging, and targeting fish on forward-facing sonar, the Yamatanuki offers bass something they have never seen before and has the profile and underwater action to trigger strikes. The Yamatanuki is another incredible tool in your fish-catching arsenal brought to you by the world’s most premium soft plastic brand, Yamamoto Baits.
