A new breed of soft plastic jerkbait, the Yamamoto D Shad brings the utmost versatility to a rather straightforward category of soft plastics. Fished on a round bend hook, the streamlined body gives it a side-to-side twitching action and a thicker, heavier tail causes the bait to sink horizontally with an extremely natural shimmying action. Furthermore, the D Shad has proven to be a superb option for flipping or pitching on a Texas rig, dragged out deep on a Carolina rig, or as a trailer on your favorite bladed jig or scrounger head jig. No matter how you use the Yamamoto D Shad, you are sure to get bit!
