The “stiff elastomer” is specifically designed for snagging and handling. The Nora Nezumi’s body shape has been proven by numerous catches to be “less prone to snagging” and “have good hook-setting capabilities.” This performance is extremely important for elastomer lures, which tend to have poor hook-setting capabilities. Furthermore, the length and stiffness of each individual hair are adjusted so that it moves with even the slightest water current, allowing for surprisingly complex actions.
