Invented in 1983 by Paul “Buddy” Banks, the Original Silver Buddy Blade bait is highly sought after by cold water anglers for its outstanding fish-catching characteristics. Often imitated, but never replicated, the Original Silver Buddy is a classic lure that has been a closely guarded secret throughout the mid-southern United States as one of the best cold-water smallmouth blade baits ever made. With its baitfish profile, fish-attracting flash, and unique vibration, the Original Silver Buddy entices reactions at any depth from not only those cold-water smallmouths, but all species of fish at any time of year! Perfectly balanced and armed with two extra-sharp trebles, the Silver Buddy Blade Bait deserves a home in every angler’s fishing arsenal.
