Purpose-built for backslide presentations, the Ryugi Slide Pierce Worm Hook gives anglers precise control over the fall angle and action of soft plastic baits. Its unique rounded bend and low-profile worm keeper allow the hook eye position to be adjusted, making it easy to fine-tune the bait’s center of gravity when paired with a nail weight. This versatility helps create the natural, controlled back-sliding action that excels around docks, overhangs, and heavy cover.
Finished with Ryugi’s proprietary Pierce TC Teflon coating, the Slide Pierce Worm Hook delivers exceptional penetration with minimal hookset force, helping convert more bites into landed fish—even at the end of a long cast. Designed and field-tested by some of Japan’s top anglers and guides, the Ryugi Slide Pierce Worm Hook is a premium solution for anglers looking to maximize the effectiveness of modern backslide techniques.
