The Ryugi Hover Shot Hook is a highly effective tool for catching suspended fish when paired with light line and a finesse swimbait or fluke to mimic a panicked baitfish high in the water column. In situations where the fish are heavily pressured, even a lightly weighted jig head may fall too quickly and cause you to fish your presentation too fast. That’s where the Hover Strolling technique with the Ryugi Hover Shot Hook comes in – it allows anglers to use a small hook with a finesse swimbait and control the action and fall of their bait by adding a small nail weight. This hook also features a special worm keeper in the center, ensuring that your soft plastic stays securely attached on both casts and fish catches. With a 90-degree line tie positioned above the nose of your swimbait and a fine-wire construction with TC Coating, the Ryugi Hover Shot Hook has a smooth surface that allows for a quick and easy hookset and is perfect for the light line setups required for successful hover strolling on the water.
