Rapala Crush City HedgeHog

There’s no compact power fishing lure more versatile than a creature bait, but until now, no creature baits have fulfilled all of tournament champion Jacob Wheeler’s needs and preferences. With the introduction of the CrushCity HedgeHog, there’s now a versatile tool that lives up to his exact expectations. At 4 inches long, the HedgeHog stands above its predecessors in both subtle and obvious ways. Starting with the tail-kicking appendages, which went through countless prototypes and revisions, provides the perfect kick at slow speeds, even with lightweight setups. From the bottom-up, the HedgeHog features raised ribs, which allows for perfect “Texposing” of EWG and round bend worm hooks to marry the perfect combination of weedlessness and hook setting ease. The most subtle detail of the HedgeHog is passed down from the Bronco Bug and Cleanup Craw, with small forward-facing legs that provide a quivering secondary action to trigger even the most pressured bass into biting. Lastly, the top of the HedgeHog features waving arms that deliver a gently flapping motion that has the drawing power to garner quality-sized bites. From Carolina and Texas rigging, to an oversized jig trailer or a unique shakey head option, the Rapala Crush City HedgeHog is the bite-getter anglers want when a kicker is needed to fill their limit!
