The best-selling Megabass Dark Sleeper Swimbait has a new brother in its family of perfectly-tuned soft plastic swimbaits with the new 2022 Megabass Sleeper Gill. The Megabass Sleeper Gill features a patent-pending adaptation of the dorsal fin weed guard pioneered by the Dark Sleeper, allowing the Sleeper Gill to venture where others baits fear to swim. Its jungle-crawling ability enables precise targeting of submerged vegetation, laydowns, standing timber, bottom structure, and more. The concealed top hook presents a natural sunfish-imitating silhouette and is positioned atop a hollow pocket that compresses for dependable hooksets. The Megabass Sleeper Gill features a low center of gravity with anatomically correct pectoral fin balancers that contribute to its bottom-contact swimming stability. This low center of gravity gives a perfect swimming posture through cover that stands up properly when allowing the Sleeper Gill to rest on the bottom.
Complete with Megabass’ sensitive Sleeper tail that kicks at the slowest retrieves, the Sleeper Gill can be crawled gently along the bottom to fool even the most tenured of trophy bass. When fished at faster speeds, the Megabass Sleeper Gill demonstrates a strong tail kick with a touch of body roll, flashing its intricate detail and gorgeous sunfish imitating colors from every angle. When standard swimbaits and sunfish imitating plastics can’t get the job done, the Megabass Sleeper Gill’s unmatched realism and enticing action swims laps around the competition!
