The Lucky Craft Pointer 78SP is a hard slashing jerkbait that comes to life underwater when fished in a jerk-pause cadence, either for sluggish cold water bass or aggressively for bone-crushing strikes from smallmouth in the hot midsummer months. This compact jerkbait was designed with a very low center of gravity through special brass weights, causing the lure to wobble and vibrate whenever the retrieving motion is stopped. The Pointer 78SP will suspend 4 -5 feet deep and emits an intriguing bass-calling vibration, even while in the suspended state as it wobbles to maintain its true center. A short twitch of the fishing rod will generate the “Walk the Dog” action under the water, driving big bass who are feeding on shad, perch, and other baitfish absolutely crazy.
Tip: Increase your drawing power with the Lucky Craft Pointer Jerkbait by swapping the rear hook a feathered treble hook for added flare and drawing power!
