The Deps Slide Swimmer 250 is a magnum glide bait in its own class, tailormade for giant bass. Ultra-lifelike movements, a composite soft-shell body, and an ABS hollow-core make it the perfect bait for hunting down trophy-caliber fish. The Slide Swimmer 250 reacts to each rod movement with both moderate and fast movements as it meanders in a tantalizing glide at moderate speeds to generate reaction strikes. The ABS hollow-core body allows for a crisp and sharp gliding action and allows the use of a micro-spring weight inside the bait for a distinct knocking sound and increased micro-vibrations each time the weight shifts. This weight can also be adjusted by removing the soft shell, allowing you to easily tune the bait to your exact specifications. The use of Deps’ troubleless fins create a lifelike appearance while preventing hooks from getting tangled on the body of the bait, which is a big advantage in the big bait game, as one waster cast could cost you the fish of a lifetime. An insert plate built into the ABS core adds a vivid reflection pattern that shines through the soft outer shell, giving the Slide Swimmer 250 unmatched lifelike appeal.
Yet another striking feature of this bait is the duct that runs between the core and soft shell that captures water flow inside the body during the retrieve and discharges the water at the joint to propel its natural swimming action. All of these features combine to give you a superbly realistic gliding action with a straight retrieve, making the Slide Swimmer a very user-friendly glide bait. Big bass don’t want to waste energy on small baitfish and want a big meal to match their big appetite. The Deps Slide Swimmer 250 perfectly imitates a plus-sized meal for trophy bass and creates a feeding reaction that just might land you the fish of a lifetime!
